Welcome to the Spalenka Eye! The mission of this journal is to enliven the art spirit. I will be updating these pages with stories and projects of my own and others, as well as highlight unique views of creativity around the world.
I made art for major publications in the magazine, newspaper and book publishing world for 26 years. In 2004 my focus shifted to film and I began working as a concept designer. Film projects include: The Ant Bully, The Golden Compass, Escape from Planet Earth (2012 release), The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. I teach higher education, lecture, and am involved in a myriad of personal book and music projects.
Most recently I created a company called Artist As Brand™ that teaches talented individuals how to create their own art empires.
